Benji Holder
Benji Holder had been overweight his whole life and says it got worse once he became an adult. "It got to a point where it got difficult with ordinary life and regular tasks," said Holder.
His children played a big role in his decision to get healthy, as they required a lot of his attention and energy. In October 2023, he had bariatric surgery at Lutheran Hospital and has lost over 200 pounds.
"I'm just very thankful that I was able to take this opportunity and this step and just get healthy," said Holder.

Olivia Milby
A couple years ago, Olivia Milby chose to change her life and had bariatric surgery at Lutheran Downtown Hospital.
Olivia can't believe how different she looks now and says her weight loss has also impacted the lives of her son and daughter.
"I'm going to tell anyone who is struggling with their weight (that) you can definitely do it," said Milby. "It can change and can get better."
