With this information in hand, we can help you lose weight and inches, lower BMI, increase energy and effectively use a food diary. If needed, we can also refer you to a behavioral counselor so you can schedule one-on-one appointments.
Meal Replacement Shakes and Bars
Participants have the option to purchase meal replacement protein shakes/bars under the supervision of the obesity medicine specialist. These shakes and bars provide structure and food stimuli narrowing within your customized nutrition plan.
Weight-Loss Medication
If medication is needed, the obesity medicine specialist will prescribe the medication that is right for you. Follow-up appointments to evaluate progress are scheduled twice the first month and then every four to six weeks after that.
Baseline Metabolism
Metabolism is the body’s process of converting food into energy. It keeps the body running and fuels daily activities. The team utilizes a quick, convenient test to determine your body’s resting metabolic rate. Once we identify the amount of energy (calories) your body needs to function efficiently, we can help you establish a healthy diet tailored to your needs.
