Popular Christmas display at Dupont Hospital up and running for 2015

Barbara and Todd Rumsey collection has grown annually for 25 years
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Nov. 16, 2015) - What began as a one-time loan to Dupont Hospital in 2004 has turned into a yearly sign that the holidays are just around the corner. During the past 11 years, a porcelain Christmas village donated to Dupont for community enjoyment by local ob-gyn Todd Rumsey, MD, and his wife, Barbara, has established itself as an annual traditional for patients, visitors and the hospital's team members.
The first pieces of the Rumsey's Department 56 Snow Village collection were given to them as engagement gifts at Christmas in 1990. Today, approximately 350 man-hours are needed to complete the extensive display, which fills a large section of Dupont's lobby and includes lights and moving parts.
Barbara will be at Dupont on Tuesday, Nov. 17, between 10 and 11 a.m., to share her reflections on the village's quarter century evolution.
Todd is a partner with Women's Health Advantage and the board chairman at Dupont Hospital.
