Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital Names New CEO

Lutheran Health Network today announced that Chad Towner has been appointed as chief executive officer of Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital (LKH), effective November 21, 2024. Towner has served as interim chief executive officer at LKH since September 2024.
“LKH has a strong commitment to serving the community with pride and compassion and Chad Towner is the leader who can continue this commitment for our patients and employees,” said Alan Alderfer, chairman, Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital board of trustees. “Chad is an accomplished healthcare executive with a deep understanding of this region and a steadfast focus on quality, safety and patient outcomes. We’re excited to welcome him back to the area, and we look forward to continued growth at LKH under his leadership.”
Towner has over 25 years of leadership and healthcare experience. He started his career as a physical therapist at Lutheran Hospital in 1996. He became chief operating officer at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne in 2006 and served as CEO of Dupont Hospital from 2010-2016. Towner has demonstrated knowledge in developing and growing service lines, managing capital projects, building high-performance teams, and driving operational excellence.
Towner holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
