Lutheran Hospital Hosts Mega Lungs on October 29 in Advance of November Lung Cancer Awareness Month

In recognition of November being Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Lutheran Hospital will display 12 foot by 15 foot “MEGA Lungs” in the lobby of its Medical Office Building 2 on Tuesday, October 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.. The lobby entry point is located at 7910 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne.

The MEGA Lungs display gives visitors a highly interactive, educational experience about the respiratory system's most critical organ. The public will be able to step inside the human lung model, learn about the various structures and normal lung functions, observe examples of lung trauma and disease, and view displays explaining some of the latest respiratory medical treatments.
