Christ's Starfish Foundation Set to Bring Holiday Spirit to Lutheran Children's Hospital
12/9/2019
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Dec. 10, 2019) This Friday at 2 p.m., Christmas bags packed full of gifts will be generously given to Lutheran Children's Hospital from Christ's Starfish Foundation. In preparation for Santa's visit on Christmas morning, the gift bags are being delivered just a little early so every pediatric patient in the hospital on or near Christmas will receive one.
Based out of Jacksonville, Fla., Christ's Starfish Foundation began in 2007 and gradually expanded its work to include Lutheran Children's Hospital in 2016. The organization focuses on meeting the needs of pediatric patients and their families during trying times. Patients at Lutheran Children's Hospital will benefit year-round from this outpour of kindness, especially during the holiday season.
Each December, there are multiple opportunities to experience the goodwill of the season through the donation of time, talent and treasure. Stay tuned for further information on upcoming holiday visits by heading to: https://www.lutheranhealth.net/news
