Visitor Restrictions (effective 7/9)

For your safety, as well as the safety of patients and caregivers:

  • Face masks are required at all times. Please remember to wear your mask when visiting any healthcare facility.
  • No visitors for COVID-19 patients or for patients awaiting a COVID-19 test result.
  • Entry to all Lutheran Health Network hospitals is limited to main entrances and/or emergency departments. Screeners will staff these points of entry at all times to reinforce the following visitor restrictions.

Hospitals

  • One visitor is allowed to see a patient in the hospital between 10 a.m.–noon and 6–8 p.m., with the exceptions listed below (must be 18 or older).  All visitors will be screened and given a blue wristband reflecting the current date. After being screened, inpatient visitors will be asked to go directly to the patient room. Other parts of the hospital, including cafeterias and gift shops, are closed to visitors at this time.
    • Obstetrics: One spouse, partner or significant other (no visiting hour restrictions).
    • Pediatric and NICU: Two parents (no visiting hour restrictions).
    • The Rehabilitation Hospital, The Orthopedic Hospital, Continuing Care or Behavioral Health: No visitors.
    • Emergency Department: One visitor may accompany a patient (must be 18 or older). Both parents/guardians may accompany pediatric patients.
    • Outpatient Procedures/Elective Cases: One visitor may accompany a patient (must be 18 or older).
  • Please call the main number or speak with a member of the care team about compassionate care/end-of-life situations.

RediMed and MedStat Urgent Care Locations

  • One visitor is allowed to accompany a patient (must be 18 or older).

Lutheran Health Physicians Practice Locations

  • One visitor is allowed to accompany a patient (must be 18 or older).

Those with a cough, fever or difficulty breathing will not be allowed to visit unless seeking medical care for themselves.
