Visitor Restrictions (effective 05/27)

For your safety, as well as the safety of patients and caregivers:

  • Face masks are required at all times. Please remember to wear your mask when visiting any healthcare facility.
  • Entry to all Lutheran Health Network hospitals is limited to main entrances and/or emergency departments. Screeners will staff these points of entry at all times to reinforce the following visitor restrictions.

Hospitals

  • One visitor is allowed to see a patient in the hospital between 10 a.m.–noon and 6–8 p.m., with the exceptions listed below (must be 18 or older).  All visitors will be screened and given a blue wristband reflecting the current date. After being screened, inpatient visitors will be asked to go directly to the patient room. Other parts of the hospital, including cafeterias and gift shops, are closed to visitors at this time.
    • Obstetrics: One spouse, partner or significant other (no visiting hour restrictions).
    • Pediatric and NICU: Two parents (no visiting hour restrictions).
    • The Rehabilitation Hospital, The Orthopedic Hospital, Continuing Care or Behavioral Health: No visitors.
    • Emergency Department: No visitors unless it is a pediatric patient (parents are allowed to remain in the room with the patient).
    • Outpatient Procedures/Elective Cases: One visitor may accompany the patient to the pre-op area and for information. The visitor will leave to their car; staff will call the visitor when it’s time for pickup. Visitors can be escorted back to specified areas for further discharge instructions if needed.
    • No visitors for patients with COVID-19.
  • Please call the main number or speak with a member of the care team about compassionate care/end-of-life situations.
