Visitor Restrictions (effective 11/23/2020)

For your safety, as well as the safety of patients and caregivers:

  • Face masks are required at all times.
  • All visitors must be 18 years of age or older and will be screened upon entry.
  • Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted to enter unless seeking medical care.

HOSPITALS

  • One visitor per day: Only one visitor is permitted per patient per day.
  • Visiting hours: Noon-8 p.m. daily. (See exceptions below.)
  • Inpatient visitors: Go directly to the patient room.
  • Outpatient procedures/surgery: No visitors are permitted unless the patient is a minor or needs special assistance. Patients must be dropped off – the person driving the patient will be given a time to return to the post-op waiting area.
  • Radiology and Outpatient Diagnostics: Patients must be dropped off. One person is permitted if the patient is a minor or needs special assistance.

Exceptions:

  • Kosciusko Community Hospital: Visiting hours are 10 a.m.-noon and 6-8 p.m. daily.
  • Emergency Department: One person per patient (no visiting hour restrictions). Both parents/guardians are permitted for pediatric patients.
  • The Birthplace: Two designated visitors (including spouse or partner); only one adult visitor per patient at a time (no visiting hour restrictions).
  • Pediatrics and NICU: Two parents/guardians (no visiting hour restrictions).
  • Compassionate care/end-of-life situations: Please speak with a member of the care team.

No visitors permitted:

  • No visitors for COVID-19 patients or for patients awaiting COVID-19 test results.
  • No visitors are permitted at The Rehabilitation Hospital, The Orthopedic Hospital, or in Continuing Care and Behavioral Health Units.

LUTHERAN HEALTH PHYSICIANS PRACTICE LOCATIONS

  • No visitors permitted unless the patient is a minor or needs special assistance.
  • One visitor is permitted for OB patients.

REDIMED AND MEDSTAT URGENT CARE LOCATIONS

  • No visitors permitted unless the patient is a minor or needs special assistance.
  • One visitor is permitted for OB patients.
