Statement Regarding Dr. Stephen Hatch

On behalf of the Dupont Hospital family, its board and the entire Lutheran Health Network, we wish to share our deepest condolences with the family of Dr. Stephen Hatch and wife Kim. Our thoughts and prayers are also with their son Austin as he fights to recover from his injuries. Steve's impact on Dupont as a physician partner and member of its board doesn't even begin to tell the entire story of how important he was to this community and how much his loss saddens us all. Steve will be remembered professionally as an outstanding caregiver and an innovator who placed the needs of the patient above all else. More importantly, he was an outstanding father, husband and friend whose legacy will live on.

Todd C. Rumsey

Chairman, Dupont Hospital Board of Directors

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
ER wait times are door to clinical professional and can change quickly depending on the urgency of patients that arrive by ambulance. Lutheran Health Network provides care to patients with life-threatening illnesses first.

Because our ER and Urgent Care staffs must treat patients based on the severity of illness or injury, your time is not guaranteed. We will see you as close to your designated time as possible. If your symptoms worsen or you believe you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department as soon as possible.

Patient results may vary. Consult your physician about the benefits and risks of any surgical procedure or treatment.
