Lutheran Health Network Internally Promotes Chief Nursing Officer of The Orthopedic Hospital

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Wednesday, May 11, 2011) – Lutheran Health Network officials formally announced today that Marci Hamilton is the new chief nursing officer for The Orthopedic Hospital of Lutheran Health Network. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Science in April 2009 and a Master of Science in December 2010, both in nursing from Indiana Weslyan University.

Hamilton has worked for LHN since 1999 where she began at St. Joseph Hospital in various staff and leadership positions prior to becoming the division director of inpatient orthopedics at Lutheran Hospital in September 2006. Hamilton played a key role in the teaming up of Lutheran’s orthopedics with physician partners from Fort Wayne Orthopedics in forming The Orthopedic Hospital in 2008.
